Exploring Marine Biogeochemistry

ABSTRACT
This section aims to bring together researchers to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of marine biogeochemistry. It also provides an interdisciplinary platform to present and discuss the latest methodological innovations, practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of biogeochemical measurements.
ABOUT THE ORGANIZER
Paola Rivaro associate professor in environmental chemistry with a with twenty five years of experience in working in the Ross Sea (Antarctica) and in Mediterranean Sea as chemical oceanographer. The research activities are focused on studies on the distribution of trace elements, CFCs, dissolved oxygen, nutrients, inorganic carbon system in relation to physical and biological properties of the water column. The research activity is summarized 76 publications as author or co-author, 8 contributions to volumes and in more than 100 presentations at national and international meetings and workshops.
