TOPICS

Special session in maritime measurements on embedded instruments is focused on papers and presentations on the following topics:

  • Usage of embedded systems for measurement in on/offshore applications;
  • IoT systems for sea-borne applications;
  • Sensors for low-power measurements in the sea environment;
  • Hydroacoustic measurements and transducers at sea;
  • Meteo measurements in restricted power availability with special respect to MetOCEAN buoys and relvenat;
  • UAV, UAS, ROV, and other platforms as a carrier for edge computing and IoT nodes;
  • Off and On-grid communications for measurement at sea concerning new waveforms and mesh communication;
  • High power edge computing in the maritime environment;
  • SoC and similar low-power architectures;
  • High scalability and reliability applications of GNSS at sea concerning PNT and relevant GNSS-disabled areas;
  • INS/IMU applications on the embedded devices;
  • High-speed computations in a dynamic environment with AI and ML extensions;
  • Usage of AI/ML for seaborn edge computations.
